Dirty Delay Pedal | Hybrid Overdrive & Lo-Fi Delay

$105.00

The Grit and the Echo: A Dual-Circuit Hybrid The tre_audio Dirty Delay is not your average time-based effect. It is a deliberate mash-up of a high-character overdrive and a dark, analog-voiced delay. Designed for players who want to move beyond pristine repeats, the Dirty Delay allows you to inject texture, saturation, and lo-fi "grime" directly into your signal path.

Two Circuits. Zero Compromise. The Dirty Delay features two independent analog-voiced circuits that can be used together or entirely separately, effectively putting two pedals in one enclosure:

  • The Overdrive Section: A warm, mid-forward drive that adds harmonic complexity and "heat" to your signal.

  • The Delay Section: A dark, evolving echo with repeats that mimic the natural analog decay.

Replicate, Saturate, or Destroy Because the circuits are independent, the Dirty Delay offers three distinct modes of operation:

  1. Independent Delay: Engage just the delay for classic, moody repeats and ambient washes.

  2. Independent Overdrive: Use the pedal as a standalone dirt box to push your amp or other pedals.

  3. The Hybrid "Dirty" Mode: Engage both to saturate your repeats. As the echoes trail off, they interact with the overdrive circuit to create a haunting, disintegrating texture that "sits" perfectly behind your dry signal.

  • Volume: This controls the volume of the pedal’s output.

    Gain:: This knob controls the gain of the clipping amplifier.

    Repeats: This controls the number of repeats from a few to infinite.

    Delay: The length of delay between echoes is controlled by this knob.

    Counterclockwise=shorter delay.  Clockwise=longer delay.

    OD/Delay Switch: Set this switch to OD to select the Overdrive-only circuit.  Set to Delay to select the Delay-only circuit. Place the switch in the middle position to use both effects at the same time.

    Footswitch:  True-bypass.  Press the switch to route your input signal through the circuit or bypass the circuit.

    Power:  This pedal takes a standard 9V DC Center-Negative power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current: 85mA

    Note: Depending on your setup, the circuit in the Dirty Delay Pedal might oscillate or squeal if the controls are maxed out.
